The project milestones have changed soo radically – amazing what a few days of reasearch can do
It’s all good, however, we are reaching the goal and meeting the objectives, but the “Risks” we contemplated at the beginning of the project have become a reality: we still do not have the voice tools (SANAKO did not meet our requirements) and we have taken longer than expected on selecting an appropriate tool for blogging.
So, the themes that can go thus far are:
Andreas 09, Blix, Blue Zinfandel, Clean and Tidy.

…or so we hope.
Looks like edublogs.org is fitting the bill. The team had a good look at other providers and the features here, ESPECIALLY uploading sound files and embedding videos, are what we, the language teachers, will be very happy with.
Another incredibly interesting aspect is the option fro creating multiple pages accessible through tabs at the top – it does indeed lend itself to the e-portfolio function.
And finally, knowing that it has been created for rducators, by educators and is being supported by educators is of a paramount importance to us.
Last, but not least, James Farmer, the founder of Edublogs, has been for some time associated with our language centre and we had a pleasure of having him as a guest presenter at the “First CALL Symposium”, Melbourne Aug 2007, hosted By MUELC and PacCALL.
